Should we just be handing over the car keys when kids turn 16? Why or why not?
I think that if a child has a cellphone on him/herself at all times while they are in the car, and they are proven trustworthy, then they should be allowed to drive after proper education on the matter.
Of course, I'm scared to death of cars, so I probably won't really use my license beyond proving my age, etc (if I never need a car for a place that I can't reach by train or bus, I'll rent one). I'm all for public transport.
